Welcome To My Craziness!!

If you know me...well, yeah, you know what you're in for. If not, you're in for a crazy ride! Ok, maybe not too crazy, it just depends on the day.

This morning, I woke up (late as usual), started the coffee, booted up my trusty best friend (a.k.a. my computer) and received the link to my sister's brand spanking new blog site. Since we're twins, I figured it was only fitting that I do the same thing she did and start my own as well. Those who know me already know I'm a blog-a-holic. Well, I used to be. Life sort of gets in the way of blogging sometimes. It's been over a year since I've blogged obsessively. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I have definitely missed it, though. My previous blog sites (yes, they still exist) are like ghost towns these days, though. So, here I am, penning my thoughts and craziness for fresh new meat...er...I mean readers.

If you didn't get it by my blog title...I'm a mom. And a gamer. And slightly insane. But, these days, who isn't? Ok, ok...a mom and insane maybe...but a gamer too? Well, yeah, that's not so hard to believe either. Scratch that.

I tend to think of myself as having a slightly obsessive personality. No, I am not going to stalk you. I don't have the time, energy, or motivation for that. I love my gaming. I love my books. I love my photos. Oh yeah, I love my family too. (I just got socially slapped for that remark, I'm sure.) I speak my mind (most of the time) whether it seems appropriate or not. But, see that's the great thing about blogs. If you don't agree with me...that's all well and good...you can simply stop reading it. *smile* But, for the most part I am a nice, funny, loving person...with a slight bad attitude.

Now that we've gotten acquainted...

One of my obsessions is Twilight. Yes, I know some of you out there are going "oh good grief.. not another one!!" But, some of you are going "Heeeeey...me toooo!" Let me explain my obsession with it...

When Twilight first came out (the movies, not the books), I refused to fall into it. I couldn't understand all this "You're a vampire" and "I don't care" garbage. I kept seeing stuff about it. So, one day, I thought "I'm going to watch this movie and see what all the fuss is about." That's all she wrote. I was hooked. It brought back a lot of teenage feelings that I guess as an adult momma I don't get to feel anymore. It was so relatable to me...vampires and all. After I watched the movie, I bought all of the books, and had them all read in less than a week. (It would have been quicker if I hadn't had to actually work for a living. ugh.) So, today I splurged and went to see Eclipse. This one was by far the best...well except for Twilight, because that's what made me fall in love with the series to begin with. Needless to say, if you like the books, you're going to like the movie.

I'll try to explain my obsession with gaming later. I don't want to overwhelm you with all of my random nonsense right away. Till next time....
